An Investment Analyst collects information to perform research on assets such as stocks, bonds, etc., to offer his expertise on financial investments and decisions. Investments analysts are responsible for providing their expertise and information on financial decisions that need to be made by Fund Managers. Investment Analysts may work independently or are employed by investment companies and stockbrokers. In general, typical tasks of an Investment Analyst include portfolio and asset management, conduct in-depth research on funds, analyze profit and loss sheets of the company, provide financial advice to clients, offer portfolio management services, make informed financial recommendations, and interpret financial statements.
