This module will discuss what Financial Accounting is and also help you understand the basic but vital accounting terminologies, including Assets, Liabilities, Equities, Revenues, and Expenses.  

 

Accrual vs Cash Accounting

You will learn about the two accounting methods, Cash based accounting and Accrual Accounting. By the end of this module, you will have a deeper understanding of the two methods while also learning why Accrual Accounting is preferred over Cash Accounting.

Balance Sheet

This module aims to help you understand the meaning of “Balance Sheet” and its different components, like Current Assets, Current Liabilities, Long term Assets, and Long term Liabilities. It also presents a sample balance sheet to strengthen your learning.  

Income Statement
